In response to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and every other annual gift-getting occasion, 92Y and The United Nations Foundation have partnered to bring us #GivingTuesday -- a holiday based solely around gift-giving. It's simple: on November 27th, join your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers in an act of pure generosity. The act could be as easy as complimenting a loved one or as involved as giving your time or money to an organization in need. Don't do it for the thanks. Don't do it for the payback. Don't do it to re-up your karma from the time you re-gifted a Bath & Body Works lotion set. Do it just to be kind.
